Introduction
This peptide is a polypeptide extract that is used in clinics for its effects on memory, attention, and cortical processes in the brain. Synthetic Cortagen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro) was obtained by targeted synthesis based on the amino acid analysis of Cortexin from the natural cerebral cortex.
Cortagen leads to motor stimulation without side effects on emotional-affective behavior, which is beneficial in the treatment of affective / depressive symptoms in humans. Cortagen has shown a marked therapeutic effect on the structural and functional post-traumatic regeneration of peripheral nerve tissue and on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular parameters. This peptide significantly increases the expression of the interleukin-2 gene in human splenocytes. Comparison of changes in the cardiac expression profile induced by synthetic peptides (Cortagen, Epitalon) and peptide melatonin shows the specific effect of Cortagen on gene expression in the heart.
Dosing Details
You inject 2ml water into the vial of Cortagen from the water vial. 1 full syringe is 1ml. You then wait for the vial powder content to dissolve ON ITS OWN. DO NOT SHAKE THE VIAL TO MIX POWDER. Once dissolved and clear in colour you draw out 20 (0.2) on the syringe and inject it into the tummy under the skin into the fatty skin layer.
